Nail polish color and designs can now be matched exactly to your outfit of the day even if you are wearing a crazy outfit with lots of colors in it. You can now make a beautiful mess! New York Fashion Week designers are choosing their favorite prints from their collections and styling it on the models’ nails. Rebecca Minkoff’s Fall 2013 collection features stripes in blues and greens to black and white checker print mixed with tweeds and prints. She pulls out one of the blue patterns appearing on tops and a coat for the nail design and also uses blue eyeliner to bring out the colors in the outfit and the nails. To show everyone that may not have been backstage what was going on, the show included a social media board to reveal the backstage details.
Nail polish has become a necessary accessory for ones outfit. From polish designs to nail shapes and even 3D art, finger polish is not to be ignored or even left to the last minute. Normally, we choose the polish that we will use when looking at the array of colors at the salon and maybe matching the color with the outfit that we will be wearing that day or night. Instead of choosing a green polish to go with a shirt that has green in it, try to mimic the exact pattern of the shirt. We will show you how below.
How To Match Essie Polish With Printed Clothing
Rebecca Minkoff chose from five different nail polish designs and ultimately decided on the oil slick nail polish look consisting of 5 different Essie polishes. These colors were chosen from one of her patterns that appeared in the collection. We really like this metallic polish look because it is imperfect looking which means you can do it yourself and replicate the look. If you like this, you can even take one of your own printed tops, choose a few colors from it and make a swirly design. Here is how: put 3-4 drop of each of the different nail polish colors on the nail and using a thin paintbrush to swirl them all over the nail from the cuticle to the tip.
Rebecca Minkoff runway Fall 2013 show includes Essie Nail polish in these shades: Aruba Blue, Go Overboard, Blue Rhapsody, Penny Talk and As Gold As It Gets.
